The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the personal services for Internal Medicine Licensed Practical Nurse (IMLPN) / Internal Medicine Licensed Vocational Nurse (IMLVN) services at the 51st Medical Group, Osan Air Base, Korea. This will be a personal services contract for Internal Medicine Licensed Practical Nurse (IMLPN/Internal Medicine Licensed Vocational Nurse (IMLVN), with a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse Diploma, that is certified by the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses at the 51st Medical Group, Osan Air Base, Korea which shall contribute to a stable workforce tasked with providing quality health care services to a diverse beneficiary population. Required qualifications include, but are not limited to: Degree/Education: The IMLPN/IMLVN shall possess an associate degree in Public Health or Allied Sciences, or be a graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN certification/diploma program, or the minimum required educational qualification is a certificate stating that LPN/LVN have graduated from a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nursing program. Foreign trained nurses are required to have a certification by the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS). Possession of a state license and taking the NCLEX does not substitute for this requirement Licensure/Certification/Registration: The IMLPN/IMLVN/ shall possess and maintain throughout the course of the contract a current, active, valid and unrestricted (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) United States license, or one of the US territories, and its jurisdictions to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse, that passed and received certification from the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses. The IMLPN/IMLVN/ shall possess and maintain a current certification in either the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Course C or the American Red Cross CPR/BLS course as required by AFI 44-102, Community Health Management, Tables 1.1 through 1.6. The MTF will provide BLS refresher courses. Experience: IMLPN/IMLVN shall have at least two (2) years of experience as an IMLPN/IMLVN within the last five (5) years. This requirement is for a one-year period of performance, 1 October 2023 – 30 September 2024, plus four one-year options, plus the FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services. The NAICS code for this proposed procurement is 622110 and the annual size standard is $47M. This solicitation package will be available on the SAM.gov website (http://SAM.gov/) approximately in June 2023. However, the Republic of Korea (ROK)-United States (U.S.) Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), may preclude the U.S. Government from granting Invited Contractor or Technical Representative Status to any offeror, for this requirement. All sources submitting a quote, including U.S. sources, must already have OR confirm their ability to obtain the requisite business licenses directly from the ROK Government, and conduct business in accordance with all applicable ROK laws, including but not limited to, rules and policies regarding labor, taxation, and immigration. If an initial quote does not fully demonstrate this authorization and capacity, it will not be further considered for award.
