The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific, in support of Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii, intends to make a sole source award to DiaSorin Inc. for the purchase of various reagents and controls with the use of Liaison XL Analyzer. The contract will be for a 2-month base period plus four 12-month options. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NAICS code is 325413. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received in response to this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. The NAICS code is 325413 and the successful vendor must be registered in SAM.gov with this NAICS. The Government intends to award a Firm, Fixed-Price purchase order to the successful quoter. The requirement is for reagents and instrumentation for running assays to include but not limited to: QuantiFERON TB-Gold Plus, Measles IgG, Mumps IgG, Rubella IgG, VZV IgG, H. pylori SA, Rubella IgM, CMV IgG/IgM, Toxoplasma IgG/IgM, and HSV 1/2 IgG; as well as providing maintenance, service, and training. Interested vendors may submit in writing their capabilities and qualifications demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement identified in this notice.
