The contract will be for a 12-month base period only. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. Reagents, service, maintenance, training, and support for Flow Cytometry instruments to include Government owned Navios 8 and TQ Prep This is a Sources Sought Notice for Madigan Army Medical Center. This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. The NAICS Code is 325413 and the successful vendor must be registered in the SAM with the NAICS. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate set-aside and acquisition method. The Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Branch (JBLM-HCB) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a base period of 12 months to the successful offeror using FAR Part 13.5 commercial items procedures. The requirement is for cytometry reagents and testing materials to be compatible with the Government-owned Navios 8 and TQ Prep Flow Cytometer instruments, as well as maintenance, service, training and laser upgrades to 10 color/3 laser field for the flow cytometry instruments. A draft Performance Work Statement (Attachment 1) and the Salient Characteristics (Attachment 2) are attached for review.
