Madigan Army Medical Center in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington has a requirement for Preventive Maintenance and Repair Services on TrueBeam Linear Accelerator and Calypso System. The equipment was manufactured by Varian Medical Systems. The non-personal services required include all labor, travel, parts, tools, and materials to perform annual inspection, periodic preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, parts replacement, and mandatory/collective software/hardware updates/upgrade services, including system uptime (98% and above) guarantee, to maintain the equipment in a fully functional condition in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications. The contractor shall provide trained personnel for 24/7 telephonic support and on-site support, to include hardware, firmware, and test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE) necessary to perform all operations in connection with scheduled preventive maintenance and/or calibration procedures, as well as unscheduled repair visits as needed in order to maintain the listed equipment and/or its components if any, in a fully functional state in accordance with the OEM specifications. Any software updates provided by the OEM for covered equipment that enhances equipment functions and operations without hardware changes shall be installed. All equipment must be compliant with standards of The Joint Commission, HIPAA Act, and NFPA 99 Health Care Facilities Code. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – Pacific intends to acquire commercial services using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
