Presolicitation Notice to award under Solicitation: W81K0223Q0028 Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Branch, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award under solicitation W81K0223Q0028 to Cochlear America’s in the amount of $200,000.00 for specialized OEM Osia System Hearing Implants for a patient(s) specific surgical procedure as determined by the Surgeon at Madigan Army Medical Center Tacoma WA. These implants are the OEM product of Cochlear America’s and was the best overall choice by the Surgeon for the procedure based on patient injury and history. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications.
