Presolicitation Notice to award under Solicitation: W81K0222Q0147 Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Branch, Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price BPA Call under solicitation W81K0222Q0147 to Foundation Health LLC in the amount of $250,000.00 for Specimen Laboratory Testing Services at Bassett Army Community Hospital, FT Wainwright AK, in the isolated regional geographic area of Fairbanks Alaska. Foundation Health LLC DBA Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is the only local civilian medical facility within the limited area region of the Military Treatment Facility in Fairbanks Alaska that can provide for 24 hour STAT to routine laboratory specimen testing services with results provided within 1 to 24 hours post testing. This service will be used routinely and during Government equipment failures, or extended preventive maintenance periods of laboratory systems. Fairbanks Memorial Hospital is regionally located within 10 miles of Bassett Army Community Hospital. Ft Wainwright AK. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capability and specifications.
