Pre-Solicitation Award Notice for Laser Power Energy Meter Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific, Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Branch, Lacey, WA intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award to Ophir-Spiricon, LLC for laser power energy meter and modules capable of energy and wavelength outputs. Ophir-Spiricon, LLC is currently the only company who provides laser power energy meter available in the open market capable of correctly and accurately calculating fluence with their patented beam tracking sensor required at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications.
