Pre-Solicitation Award Notice for Software Subscription for Tissue Implant Tracking and Inventory Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific (Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Branch), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award under solicitation W81K0222Q0088 to Biomedical Synergies, Inc. A base period and one year option period in the estimated amount of $47,469.24 for TRACS4Life software subscription. Biomedical Synergies, Inc. is the current manufacturer of the Software system that is currently used at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), JBLM, Tacoma, WA. Defense Health Agency is currently acquiring a contract for an enterprise wide tissue tracking software system and MAMC will be the pilot site. The software package is not ready for this pilot program so the current software is vital for tissue implant tracking continuity until a new software system is in place. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications.
