Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific (Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Branch), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price award under solicitation W81K0222Q0036 to Bayer Healthcare LLC for a base period and one year option period in the estimated amount of $114,034.16 for the purchase of Medrad Injection System Maintenance and Repair. Bayer Healthcare LLC is the manufacturer and has priority rights of the Software and Hardware of the Government owned Medrad Injection System that is currently used at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), JBLM, Tacoma, WA. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications.
