This pre-solicitation is for a NON-PERSONAL services for a Biological Science Laboratory Technician II/III in support of the Department of Clinical Investigation at Madigan Army Medical Center, Joint Base Lewis McChord (Tacoma) WA. The general function of the Biological Science Laboratory Technician will be to provide experimental and technical support for clinical and translational research protocols using a variety of standardized and specialized laboratory procedures involving biobanking and a diverse array of biological research techniques and equipment platforms. Technician performs laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data; carries out routine tasks accurately, ensuring compliance with the research protocol(s); assists with specimen preparation and storage; conducts literature searches; and thoroughly and accurately documents all techniques and research protocols used and the results obtained.
