The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific, in support of MEDCOM, intends to make a sole source award to Gen-Probe Inc for a firm fixed-price contract for Nucleic Acid Active Reagents and Testing Equipment for Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. The NAICS code of this procurement is 325413 .This requirement is for a period of performance from on or about 01 October 2021 through 28 February 2022. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This announcement fulfills the synopsis requirements under FAR 5.201 and 5.203.
