The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii, intends to make a sole source award to Nanoentek for the purpose of obtaining a AD1K-050 R-Slide Test Kits. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is cited in FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which authorizes the government to award contracts when there is only one source reasonably available (e.g. urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization).
