Requirement: The contractor shall provide personnel, vehicle, management, and other items and services necessary to perform courier services of medical samples between the Fort Hunter Liggett (FHL) Aid Station and the California Medical Detachment (CAL MED) at Presidio of Monterey, California; Presidio of Monterey Army Health Clinic (POMAHC). The contractor shall comply with applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, codes, technical manuals, manufacturer's instructions and recommendations, and acceptable commercial practices in the delivery of required services. Services will be non-scheduled but may become more scheduled depending upon training activity at Fort Hunter-Liggett (estimated to be up to 150 trips per 12 months). The proposed action is for a 12 month base period and up to three 12 month options.

This notice is to identify possible sources that can fullfill the requirement and responses will help determine that actual acquisition process. Vendors are encourage to submit company information as well as capabilities statements. Additionally, provide information on how other contracts that you have are set-up. Do you do one way trips? How do you define when a trip is completed - point A to Point B or round trip for example? Do you do billing by the mile, time, or trip?
