More details ... A solicitation for Air Medevac Services for Fort Hunter Liggett is expected to be released on 29MAY2020 or within a few days after the 29th. Below is a brief overview of the requirement. More details will be provided in the actual solicitation. This requirement will be competed as Full and Open. AIR MEDICAL TRANSPORT AMBULANCE SERVICES for Fort Hunter-Liggett, CA. These services are non-personal in nature. Contractor shall provide dedicated, full time air medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) via an equipped contractor owned helicopter to handle immediate advanced life support (ALS) to injured DoD personnel at an incident location, and throughout most weather and light conditions. The Contractor shall provide Level I Advanced Life Support (ALS), Level II Basic Life Support (BLS), and Level III (BLS), and Level IV transportation services, as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This is a firm-fixed priced service contract, with 24 hour a day, seven day a week manning requirement. Actual service frequencies will vary based upon training density on the ranges, and the number of medical evacuations required. The Contractor will provide the properly certified pilot, EMT, and flight nurse in addition to the helicopter. Contractor will be responsible for all maintenance of the helicopter. These services are expected to start 1SEP2020 and are expected to end 31AUG2024 if all options are exercised.
