The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the non-personal services of courier service pickup and delivery of clinical diagnostic specimens, pharmacy boxes, supplies and laboratory/pharmacy related paperwork to and from the Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital (BDAACH), Department of Pathology and Department of Pharmacy. Required qualifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide courier services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The Contractor shall have a car/van with functioning A/C. This vehicle will be utilized to transport the laboratory, pharmaceutical items and medical supplies within temperature-controlled coolers. The contractor shall have car insurance for vehicles. The Contractor shall have a minimum of 5 years of experience in handling and transportation of clinical diagnostic specimens, pharmacy boxes, supplies and laboratory/pharmacy related paperwork. The Contractor shall provide a list of designated couriers/drivers by area of the USFK installations, who should have complete knowledge of physical location and functions of various departments of the Medical Treatment Facilities in order to pick up and deliver to right department without missing time and date. The Contractor shall provide a Quality Assurance Plan to ensure that temperature-controlled container and vehicles, and all other necessary materials, which are needed for medical-specific courier services, perform operational as intended. This requirement is for a one-year period of performance, 1 December 2020 - 30 November 2021, plus four one-year options, plus the FAR 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services.
