GENERAL INFORMATION Notice of Intent for Sole Source The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), Hawaii intends to award a firm fixed-price, non-personal contract for Exosome Isolation followed by either EXO-NGS (Next Generation sequencing, also known as High throughput sequencing) or Mass Spectrometry (LC/MS = Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry) for protein sequencing, method laboratory services for the Department of Clinical Investigation at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu, Hawaii in accordance with the specific tasks listed in the performance-based statement of work. This requirement is for a period of performance from 1 July 2020 through 30 June 2021, plus the FAR 52.217-8 option to extend. The proposed acquisition is intended as a sole source to System Biosciences, LLC. Through the combined use of Exosome-RNA NGS and Exosome Proteomics analysis, System Biosciences, LLC is the only company that provides exosome isolation with downstream NGS and Proteomics analysis services. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
