The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific at Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC), intends to make a brand name only award to Cepheid and/or its authorized distributors for Xpert Xpress Flu/RSV Kits and Xpert GBS/LB MCBLTST 10 TST Kits at Bassett Army Community Hospital (BACH), Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. The statutory authority permitting this award without providing full and open competition is FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). However, interested vendors who can fulfill this brand name only requirement may submit in writing their capabilities and qualifications. Responses to this notice should include company name, address, and telephone number, point of contact (POC), and brochures which will allow the Government to understand your offerings and options. Capability statements should be submitted to the attention of Linda Oshiro, Contract Specialist, Email: linda.n.oshiro.civ@mail.mil. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 23 January 2020 at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
