This is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts or quotations. The purpose of this notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of qualified sources and whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. The NAICS Code is 325413 and the successful vendor must be registered in the SAM with this NAICS. Responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate set-aside and acquisition method. The Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Branch (JBLM-HCB) intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for a base period with up to four options, if exercised to the success offeror using FAR Part 12 commercial items procedures. The requirement is for an upgraded Sysmex Analyzer, Reagents, and Supplies to be compatible with the current Sysmex XN9000 Analyzer and Roller 20 PN Workstation. The addition of these upgraded modules must not inhibit our directional workflow and it must remain connected to our automation. The system must continue to determine blood types, antibodies, cross match donors and recipients, and identify any unexpected antibodies that may cause a transfusion reaction. Complete Blood Count (CBC) and Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) is a critical tool used to specifically characterize and identify types of white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets, and any alteration in that cell type that may be responsible for the onset of infectious diseases, autoimmune disorders or immunodeficiencies. A draft Performance Based Statement of Work (SOW) and is attached for review. (Attachment 1) and Salient Characteristics (Attachment 2) Interested vendors may submit in writing their capabilities and qualifications demonstrating their ability to fulfill the requirement identified in this notice.
