Joint Base Lewis-McChord Health Contracting Branch intends to issue a firm fixed price order under FAR Subpart 13.501(a)(1)(i), sole source (including brand name). Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized to Sysmex America in the estimated amount of $531,630.00 for a hematology analyzer. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications. This requirement is for a lease of a hematology analyzer (including reagents, supplies, training, and service of the system). System MUST be authorized and compatable to connect with Roche Diagnostic's Total Laboratory Automation sytem. -Must have a conditional ATO at a minimum. -Must be able to provide fluorescent dye based parameters to include immature platelet fraction, blast cells, abnormal cells and retic hemoglobin equivalent. -Must be able to provide an analyzer to perform Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) testing. -Must perform a six part differential to include immature cells absolute and percent. -Must provide a scattergram the separates lymphocytes. -Must be able to correct for interfering substances such as NRBC, platelet aggregation, and etc. -Hemoglobin must be determined by direct spectrophotometric analysis. -Capable of performing automated cell count on body fluids.
