Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Intra - Aortic Balloon Pumps
The Department of Cardiology at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) in El Paso, Texas requires two Intra-Aortic Balloon Circulatory Assist Units for high-risk Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) procedures. The system must be a portable, FDA-approved device with automatic and manual modes, a color touch screen, and specific alarm and data logging capabilities. Onsite clinical staff training and training for two clinical engineers are required, along with installation by an authorized Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Delivery of the equipment must occur no later than 45 calendar days from contract award, with no partial deliveries authorized. Performance of services will take place at WBAMC in El Paso, Texas, with specific access and safety procedures for installers.
