Given the part-time nature of the role (24 hours per week), I request more flexibility in scheduling to accommodate pastoral needs effectively. This is the requirement of the department. No change to the PWS. • Section 1.4.2 currently describes performance hours as an average of four (4) hours per day, six (6) days per week. However, since this is a part-time equivalent position, I recommend adjusting the language to reflect flexible scheduling to meet mission requirements. This is the requirement of the department. No change to the PWS. • Additionally, given the mission-essential nature of the role, the contract should specify that the on-call requirement applies only when catholic priest-specific task and skill is required by patients and other on-call chaplains who cannot perform sacraments. This is the requirement of the department.
