THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A Sources Sought notice is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determining the method of acquisition. The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-W, Fort Carson, Colorado, has an upcoming requirement to solicit and award a contract for a BRAND NAME ONLY ManoScan ESO Z Catheter/3890 for use with the government-owned Medtronic ManoScan System for Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH), Fort Carson, Colorado. The contemplated contract type is Firm-Fixed Price (FFP). Upon review of industry responses to this Sources Sought, the Government will determine the solicitation strategy. A response to this Sources Sought notice will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. The North American Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 339112 – Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing. Small Business size standard is 1,000 employees. Response Submission: Response should demonstrate the firm’s ability, capability, and responsibility to provide and deliver the product listed above. Interested firms shall submit a brief capabilities statement that includes the following: 1) Vendor’s name, address, SAM UID, and CAGE Code 2) Vendor’s capability in providing the brand name only ManoScan ESO Z Catheter/3890 and statement of interest in providing a quote to the solicitation when issued. 3) Applicable business size; 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, veteran owned small business, service-disabled veteran owned small business or large business; and 4) Point of Contact information to include name, email address, and telephone. 5) If not the OEM, respondent must provide documentation from the OEM stating they are an authorized distributor of the requested brand name product. Responses must be submitted no later than 2:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time on Thursday, 13 April 2023 to brenda.m.ferjak.civ@health.mil and emerita.torres.civ@health.mil . The Government WILL NOT provide a debrief on the results of the survey and will not reimburse for any cost associated with preparing a response. All information submitted will be held in a confidential manner and will only be used for the purpose intended. Interested parties are responsible for marking information that is proprietary in nature.
