Synopsis – Tissue Allograft Skin -Burn Center (W81K0023Q0031) The Medical Readiness Contracting Office – West, Joint Base San Antonio - Fort Sam Houston, Texas has a requirement to procure Tissue Allograft Skin for the Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR) Burn Center, JBSA Ft. Sam Houston, TX. The solicitation number is W81K0023Q0031. The solicitation will be available on/about 30 January 2023 at SAM.govt. Prospective offerors are advised that if tentatively selected for award, they must register with the System for Award Management (SAM) (http://www.sam.gov) and obtain a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code prior to any award being made. The solicitation will close on/about 1 March 2023. The following are the Salient Characteristics for this requirement: All listed salient characteristics are applicable to Community Tissue Allograft Skin. a. Must be Food and Drug Administration (FDA), American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), and regulated by The Joint Commission (TJC) compliant. b. Must be able to meet standards set forth by the above governing agencies and conform to the rules and regulations set forth by Army Medical Command. c. Must be able to provide a myriad of different tissues, allografts, and supplies associated with surgery. d. May provide safe biologic, metal, and synthetic implants. e. Shall also provide clinical solutions to wound management, reconstructive surgery, abdominal, and incisional management, but not limited to the items previous cited in the memorandum.
