Notice Type: Sources Sought Notice Synopsis: The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 with a corresponding size standard of 22M. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HubZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The Regional Health Contracting Office - Central, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, is seeking potential sources to provide Mammography System Services to include Radiation Oncology Varian Equipment Maintenance. Varian Medical Equipment will require maintenance and repair service by the manufacture or other Varian school trained technicians to ensure the imaging systems meets the standard of Varian, DOD radiation regulations, and standards for patient care. This is in support of Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Biomedical Engineering Services (BES), The purpose is to provide the best maintenance for this medical equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s maintenance manuals, specifications located at BAMC, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The Period of Performance (POP) will not exceed 5 years and will consist of (1) base period and four option periods. Contractors responding to this sources sought notice are advised their response does not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The Government will not reimburse any company or individual for any expense associated with preparation or participation in this research.
