This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for an Ophthalmic Pattern Scanning Laser System for use in the Ophthalmology Department at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The Ophthalmic Pattern Scanning Laser System must have the ability to perform a full range of anterior and posterior segment laser procedures such as retinal phococoagulation, anretinal photocoagulation, focal photocoagulation, grid photocoagulation for vascular an structural abnormalities of the retina and choroid. The system must also treat age-related macular degeneration, choroidal neovascularization associated with wet age-related macular degeneration, lattice degeneration, retinal tears and detachments, non-proliferative and proliferative diabetic retinopathy, macular edema, anterior segment pathology including trabeculoplasty and iridotomy procedures.
