The Regional Health Contracting Office – Central, Fort Sam Houston (RHCO-C), TX anticipates issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to support Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) at Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, TX by providing personal services for 73 Full Time Equivalent (FTEs), comprised of 31 FTEs Surgical Technologists (Operating Room-OR), two (2) FTEs Cardiothoracic Surgical Technologists (CT Surg Techs), and 40 FTEs Central Sterile Supply Technicians (Sterilization/Processing/Distribution-SPD). This requirement will be solicited as an 8(a) competitive procurement using Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Source Selection procedures. Therefore, only 8(a) certified Small Businesses will be considered. The Government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with base period of twelve (12) months, 01 October 2022 through 30 September 2023, plus four (4), 12-month option years. The Government reserves the right to exercise or not exercise the option periods as specified. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this solicitation is 622110 - - General Medical and Surgical Hospitals. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $41.5M.
