The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central (RHCO-C) is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to find potential sources to provide Molecular BeadChip Reagents Compatible with BioArray Array Imaging System (AIS 400) and the BioArray Solutions Information System Software (BASIS) for the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) Department of Pathology and Area Laboratory Services Molecular Laboratory, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. A base period of performance plus four (4) option periods are contemplated. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT – This is a Sources Sought Notice and is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. Solicitations are not available at this time and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the United States Government to contract for any supply or service whatsoever. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the United States Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the United States Government. Not responding to this Sources Sought Notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, should one be issued. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor this site for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Government will use responses to this notice in formulating its acquisition strategy. If the Government does not receive sufficient information in response to this notice to verify the potential for competition exists, it is possible that a sole-source contract, supported by a Justification and Approval document, will be issued to support the Government's requirement. RHCO-C is seeking the following information (please answer paragraph below with your response): Company name, DUNS number, CAGE code, and point of contact information (including phone number and email address), and socio-economic category(ies) as related to NAICS 325413 (In-Vitro Diagnostic Substance Manufacturing), such as 8(a), HUBZone, Women-Owned, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Small, or Other-than-Small. Capability Statement (limited to ten pages), describing how your company meets the below objectives, providing additional proof (such as FDA approval) where appropriate: Our customer, the Department of Pathology, Microbiology Section, Molecular Laboratory at BAMC requires the following reagents, supplies and services: HEA 1.2 BeadChip Kit, Slide CT; Salient characteristics: in vitro diagnostic reagents for the molecular determination of allelic variants that predict erythrocyte antigen phenotypes in the Rh (C [RH2], c [RH4], E [RH3], e [RH5], V [RH10], VS [RH20]); Kell (K [KEL1], k [KEL2], Kpa [KEL3], Kpb [KEL4], Jsa [KEL6], Jsb [KEL7]); Duffy (Fya [FY1], Fyb [FY2], GATA [FY-2], Fyx [FY2W]); Kidd (Jka [JK1], Jkb [JK2]); MNS (M [MNS1], N [MNS2], S [MNS3], s [MNS4], Uvar [MNS-3,5W], Uneg [MNS-3,-4,-5]); Lutheran (Lua [LU1], Lub [LU2]); Dombrock (Doa [DO1], Dob [DO2], Hy [DO4], Joa [DO5]); Landsteiner-Wiener (LWa [LW5], LWb [LW7]); Diego (Dia [DI1], Dib [DI2]); Colton (Coa [CO1],Cob [CO2]); and Scianna (Sc1[SC1], Sc2 [SC2]) blood group systems in human genomic DNA. The reagents must also detect the HgbS mutation in the beta globin gene. The reagents must be compatible with a BioArray Array Imaging System™ (AIS™ 400), with assay results interpreted, analyzed, and reported through BioArray Solutions Information System (BASIS™) software. Reag Box,PreType BeadCheck Kit; Salient characteristics: Quality control material for the Precise Type HEA BeadChip Kit. This quality control material should consist of AA and BB synthetic plasmid pools intended for use as assayed positive controls for use with the Precise Type HEA Molecular BeadChip Test. The Positive Controls must be designed to detect all A and all B forms of each genetic marker within the Precise Type HEA Molecular BeadChip Test. AIS Service & Support (Service Contract Fee) Service and support for an AIS System to cover the following components: Array Imaging System (“AIS System”) and related software, Boekel Oven, Eppendorf 5430 Plate Centrifuge with Rotor Head, Veriti Dx 96-well Thermal Cycler. Under this Plan, the contractor must provide technical support through its Customer Service personnel available Monday through Friday (Eastern Time) 8:00AM – 5:00PM. This plan must include, One (1) preventive maintenance inspection of the AIS System per year and On-site service visits for the AIS System during regular business hours (8:00 AM to 6:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays), to maintain the AIS System in operational condition.
