W81K00-21-SS-BAMCOPTICALSERVICE Sources Sought notice is a market research tool being used to determine availability and adequacy of potential business sources. The intent of this Sources Sought notice is to provide non-personal services for Optical Services (1 Lead Optical Fabrication Technician, 17 Optical Fabrication Technicians and 5 Optical Fabrication Technician Helpers) for Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), TX. The contemplated contract type is Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) and services will be performed in San Antonio, TX. The requirement is currently in the 8(a) program therefore, the intent is to compete this requirement as a competitive 8(a). Upon review of industry response to this Sources Sought, the Government will determine the solicitation strategy. The Government intends to solicit and award a competitive 8(a) contract for BAMC Optical Services Support starting in FY22. A response to this Sources Sought notice will not be considered an adequate response to any forthcoming solicitation announcement. There is no solicitation available at this time. Regional Health Contracting Office – Central (RHCO-C) is seeking eligible 8(a) businesses capable of providing a non-personal service to provide BAMC Optical Service Support. See the "Draft" Performance Work Statement (PWS) for further information. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: It is requested that interested businesses submit to the Contracting Office a brief capabilities statement. This document shall address, at a minimum, the following: 1) Written narrative of Contractor’s capability to provide a non-personal service BAMC Optical Service Support; 2) Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and applicable business size; 8(a) business, HUB Zone small business, small disadvantaged business, woman-owned small business, veteran owned small business, or Service disabled veteran owned small business; and 3) Point of Contact information to include name, email address, telephone and fax numbers. 4) Please include the applicable NAICS code your company would perform this work under. 5) If applicable, questions or comments concerning the Draft PWS, Contract Type, NAICS. Responses must be submitted no later than 3:00 PM Central Daylight Time on Tuesday, 8 June 2021 to rosalba.martinez1.civ@mail.mil and robin.m.castro.civ@mail.mil. The Government WILL NOT provide a debrief on the results of the survey and will not reimburse for any cost associated with preparing a response. All information submitted will be held in a confidential manner and will only be used for the purpose intended.
