Offerors are advised to utilize the solicitation documents and attachments posted under W81K00-22-RFP-BAMC_FOOD_SERVICE_SUPPORT. ** End Update ** The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, has a requirement to obtain non-personal services to provide a Food Service Supervisor, Shift Leads, Expediters, Cashiers, Food Service Workers, Cooks, and Material Handlers for the Department of Nutritional Medicine in Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234. The BAMC Department of Nutritional Medicine (DNM) provides meal services to all patients, family members, staff, and visitors in the facility. This encompasses three dining areas (Dining Room; Cafe Express and the Ruck Sack) and two grab-and-go areas (Chefs Signature Soups, Salads and Sandwiches; and Fast Fuel). This requirement will be solicited as an 8(a) competitive procurement. Therefore, only 8(a) certified Small Businesses will be considered. The Government anticipates awarding a Five Year Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract with base period plus four (4), 12-month option years. The Government reserves the right to exercise or not exercise the option periods as specified. The North American Industrial Classification System NAICS Code is 722310, Food Service Contractors, with a small business size standard $41.5 million. The solicitation number is W81K00-21-R-3016. The solicitation will be available on/about 12 August 2021 at website (https://sam.gov/). Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates and /or amendments to any and/or all documents.
