Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source The Region Health Contracting Office-Central, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source contract to Biomerieux Inc. a Large Business, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.201(a)(1)(ii), on or about 31 December 2020, for Annual Preventive Maintenance for BACT/Alert Virtuo Incubator equipment for the Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Fort Sam Houston, TX. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 811219, and the size standard is $22M. Biomerieux Inc. is the manufacture of the BACT/Alert Virtuo Incubator equipment and is the only company that can provide OEM upgrades and support. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
