The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, JBSA- Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to issue a solicitation for establish a cost-per-test (CPT) arrangement to conduct automated mass spectrometry rapid microbial identification testing, automated antimicrobial susceptibility testing, automated biochemical microbial identification testing, and blood culture testing at Brooke Army Medical Center, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas). The equipment must be able to connect to the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and the future Electronic Health Record for the Military Health System (MHS) Genesis. It must also come with an un-interruptible power supply capable of providing power for at least 45 to 60 minutes. The server database must be SQL 2016 (Express will not be acceptable) and the operating system must be Microsoft 2016 server. All equipment and supplies must be approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). All detailed information regarding delivery and installation is provided in the Statement of Objectives (SOO). This solicitation will be issued for a base period of 01 October 2021 – 30 September 2022 and four (4) twelve-month option periods of 01 October 2022 – 30 September 2023; 01 October 2023 – 30 September 2024; 01 October 2024 – 30 September 2025; and 01 October 2025 – 30 September 2026. This requirement is being solicited on unrestricted basis. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 325413, In-vitro Diagnostic Test Substances Manufacturing.
