The solicitation number is W81K00-21- Q-0179-U0001 and it is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only RFQ that will be posted. This solicitation is to support William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) with Immunochemistry Strains capability. The Contractor will provide cardiac remote monitoring by Certified Cardiac Device Specialists (CCDS) technicians from an offsite (i.e., remote) location. This contract's target population includes all BAMC beneficiaries with CIEDs requiring remote monitoring impaneled at the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) BAMC Cardiology Clinic. BAMC will provide the Contractor with a patient list of CIED Medicare beneficiaries; the MTF will update the list with new CIED patients or deceased ones as BAMC Cardiology service is notified. The Contractor will update its patient list within 24-hours of receiving patient information. The Contractor will review transmissions, generate, and distribute reports to BAMC every four-weeks for patients with ILRs and every three-months for patients with pacemakers and ICDs; this represents approximately 5,600 reports annually. Additionally, the Contractor will respond to alerts of varying severity within the time specified on the Patient Management Protocol (Table 1). The Contractor will provide technical and administrative services in support of the CRM system implementation and utilization within the BAMC Cardiology Clinic. These services include training in all aspects of the remote monitoring service.

The San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC), has a requirement to obtain non-personal services of fifty (50) FTEs Telephone Appointment Clerks (TACs), one (1) FTE Project Administrator (PA) and one (1) FTE Alternate Project Administrator (PA) in support of the Consult and Appointment Management Office (CAMO) supporting San Antonio Military Health System’s. A base period of performance of 1 October 2020 – 30 September 2020 plus four (4) twelve-month option periods is contemplated. The current contract provides centralized consult and appointment management services for all military treatment facilities in the San Antonio area, including the San Antonio Military Medical Center, Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center, the 359th Medical Group—Randolph Air Force Base Clinic, and subordinate satellite clinics. This requirement will be solicited as a 100% set aside as an 8(a) competitive procurement. Therefore, only 8(a) certified Small Businesses will be considered.
