DESCRIPTION: Construction of the Rumaylan Detention Facility, Syria SCOPE OF WORK: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Transatlantic Expeditionary District (TAE) anticipates award of a firm-fixed price (FFP) design-build (DB) construction contract to build a new detention facility, the Rumaylan Detention Facility, in Northeast Syria near the Rumaylan Landing Zone on undeveloped farmland. The detention facility shall be built in compliance with the standards of International Humanitarian Law. Work includes, but is not limited to, all design services, labor, equipment, and materials to construct a new detention facility and respective site work, site utilities, force protection features, and facilities to produce a fully functioning facility. The performance period on this requirement is anticipated to be approximately 730 days.
