This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. NOTICE: INTENT TO SOLICIT ONLY ONE SOURCE The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government is soliciting and negotiating with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). The name of the company the Government intends to award a contract to is Blue Marble Geographics, 22 Carriage Lane, Hallowell, ME 04347-3052. The Global Mapper is a sole source product designed, created, and owned exclusively by Blue Marble Geographics. Blue Marble Geographics is the sole source provider for licensing, maintenance, and support services for Global Mapper software and, as such, the product is only authorized for purchase directly from Blue Marble Geographics. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all quotes received prior to the closing date and time of this solicitation.
