THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Army Geospatial Center (AGC), is issuing this RFI/Sources Sought to perform market research in order to determine the capability of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns for the type of work required under the attached draft Statement of Objectives (SOO). No proposals are being requested or accepted in response to this RFI. This announcement does not obligate the Government to award a contract, nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any preparation costs. Requirement: This RFI/Sources Sought is NOT a request for proposals, nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. Security Requirements: The contractor is required to have access to Top Secret (TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). All personnel shall possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance for the duration of the requirement. Capabilities Package: Interested SDVOSB concerns are requested to submit capability statements demonstrating the company's ability to meet the requirements outlined in the draft SOO. Interested SDVOSB concerns are also requested to submit examples of its most "recent" and "relevant" project efforts to demonstrate its company's accomplishments in the requirement areas of the draft SOO. Responses are limited to no more than 10 pages, consisting of font size 12 and must demonstrate the ability to provide the specific required services identified in the draft SOO. Based on the page limitation, contractors should use current or past contract examples for work performed within the past five years that is directly related to requirements listed in the draft SOO. Respondents shall list any relevant work by specific contract number to allow for review. Further information for each example shall include: (1) Prime Contractor Name and Subcontractors Names (2) Name of Project (3) Location of Project (4) Customer's Name and Customer's Point of Contact, (telephone, email) (5) General Scope of Project (include project size, complexity, and any distinctive and/or unique features of the project) (6) Your Role (Prime, Subcontractor, Joint Venture Partner) and the type of work your company self-performed) (7) Contract Type (e.g., performance-based, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, etc.) (8) Contract Award Date (Month/Year); Completion Date of the Base Year: (Month/Year); Completion Date of Option Years (Month/Year) (9) Contract/Task Order Dollar Value (Inclusive of Option Years) (10) Type and Extent of Work Subcontracted. Also be clear as to what percentage of the work was subcontracted. (11) Approach to Conducting the Effort (12) Your Performance Evaluation by Customer, if known (13) Termination or Liquidated Damages Information: comments regarding any known performance deemed unacceptable to the customer or not in accordance with the contract terms and conditions. Responses: The information provided in the RFI is subject to change and does not bind the Government. Interested sources are discouraged from submitting commercial literature in response to this RFI. Any submissions of such product literature or catalog cut sheets will be treated separate from, and will have no bearing on, any subsequent evaluation of proposals submitted in response to any resulting future formal Request for Proposal (RFP). AGC has not made a commitment to procure any of the products or services discussed, and the release of this RFI should not be construed as such a commitment or as authorization to incur cost for which reimbursement would be required or sought. AGC will not pay for information or comments provided and will not recognize any costs associated with submission of comments. All submissions become Government property and will not be returned.
