Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, AL, intends to increase the ceiling on an existing contract with L3 Technologies, Inc., Communications Systems-West (L3Harris) in Salt Lake City, UT, from $388,588,385 to approximately $685,398,349. The added ceiling will cover Manned/Unmanned Teaming (MUMT) hardware and technical/engineering support for the Apache Attack Helicopter in support of U.S. Government operations and Foreign Military Sales. The increase is driven by higher projected quantities for Coyote Modem, RoadRunner, Rover6i, MUMT-X AAG-X/KuC assemblies, ACME kit, and significantly higher FMS CFSR support in Years 3-5. A prior J&A dated 10 August 2022 supported other than full and open competition, stating L3T is the only source with the necessary TDP, corporate knowledge, and technical expertise to perform the required quick-reaction MUMT/MUMT-X support within the required timeframe.
