DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul for the following items: NOMENCLATURE: DISPLAY UNIT, FLIGHT Input/Output NSN: 6610-01-598-6052 Input/Output P/N: 501-1851-3402 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 60 each – Maximum 552 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 92 each) The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul type contract, with minimum / maximum quantities listed above. This is identified as commercial and FAR Part 12 will be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin. No DMWR has been identified for this effort. Currently, the only known approved source for the repair data for the Display Unit Flight is, L-3 Communications. (CAGE 25583). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to become an approved source by following the procedures outlined at the following website: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/ No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Requests for the solicitation shall be by email to carrie.l.samuels.civ@army.mil. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
