The purpose of this notice is to announce the Army Contracting Command-Redstone intends to solicit, negotiate, and execute a (5) year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul contract with Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, 6900 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06614-1378 (CAGE Code 78286) for overhaul of the following: NOMENCLATURE: UH-60 Hub, Rotor, Helicopter INPUT NSN: 1615-01-450-4834 OUTPUT NSN: 1615-01-640-8429 INPUT P/N: 70103-08112-047M/70103-08112-051 OUTPUT P/N: 70103-08112-051 The minimum / maximum quantities are as follows: ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 36 each – Maximum 240 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 40 each) These items are noncommercial. FAR Part 12 will not be utilized. This NSN is listed as a Critical Safety Item. The Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) is inadequate for overhaul of the item and does not contain the complete procedures to perform a full overhaul/upgrade process on the Hub, Rotor. Therefore, the overhaul must be accomplished by the Original Equipment Manufacturer [Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation], who is the only approved source to repair this item. No solicitation package will be publically issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, responses received by the closing date and time of this notice will be considered.
