This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a Request for Proposal. This is a notice of intent to solicit a sole source Firm-Fixed Price requirement, Solicitation W58RGZ-19-R-0152 under the statutory authority of Title 10, United States Code, Section 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The United States Army Contracting Command - Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (ACC-Redstone Arsenal) 35898-5280 is contemplating an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity requirement that will be sole sourced to Honeywell International Incorporated, 111 South 34th Street, Phoenix, AZ 85034-2802 (CAGE 99193). The requirement is for the acquisition of the following: · CH-47 Aircraft T55-GA-714A Engine, NSN 2840-01-458-5361, Part Number 2-001-020-39 · CH-47 Aircraft T55-GA-714A Engine Electronic Control Unit (ECU), NSN 2995-01-613-5055, Part Number 2-170-700-21 · CH-47 Aircraft T55-GA-714A Installation Kit, NSN 2840-01-562-3491, Part Number 2-201-110-01 The estimated minimum quantity of this effort will be for twelve (12) T55-GA-714A engines, five (5) engine installation fielding kits and nine (9) ECUs. The maximum quantity of this requirement will be 350 T55-GA-714A engines, 312 engine installation fielding kits and 350 ECUs. The primary Product and Service Code for the requirement is 2840 and the North American Industry Classification System Code for the requirement is 336412. Award is anticipated in calendar year 2020. Ordering periods will be based on calendar year from the date of award through December 2023 with expected deliveries into 2025 in support of both the United States Government and Foreign Military Sales requirements. This acquisition is restricted to the item description set forth in this synopsis. There will be no Technical Data Packages (TDP) furnished as part of the solicitation. The Government does not own the TDP. Responsible sources that can produce the required items described above are encouraged to fully identify their interest and capabilities within 15 days after publication of this synopsis. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement or proposal, which shall be considered by the Agency. Submissions should be sent by email to Delvin Sullivan, Contract Specialist, at delvin.l.sullivan.civ@mail.mil and must be received no later than 4:30 pm CT on the response due date. Only responsible, engineering approved sources will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website https://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casl_cmo_home. Contractors must be properly registered and fully qualified to do business with the federal government. This notice may represent the only official notice concerning this solicitation. The Government will not pay for any information provided under this notice.
