Subject: STARTER, ENGINE, ELECT (INPUT P/N: 519892-5-1) Solicitation Number: W58RGZ-19-R-0059 Set-Aside Code: N/A Response Date (MM-DD-YYYY): April 12, 2019 Place of Performance: Army Contracting Command-Redstone ATTN: CCAM-ALL, Nelminia Serrano Bldg 5303 Martin Road Redstone Arsenal, AL. 35898-5280 Description: The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance and overhaul of the following assets: NOMENCLATURE: STARTER, ENGINE, ELECT Input NSN: 2920-01-180-0453 P/N: 519892-5-1 Output NSN: 2920-01-180-0453 P/N: 519892-5-1 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: MIN 16- MAX 72 The proposed contractual action will be a FIVE (5) year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul effort, with minimum/maximum quantities listed above. These items are non- commercial; FAR Part 12 will not be utilized. Required delivery shall be FOB Origin. The STARTER, ENGINE, ELECT is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). There is no adequate Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) for this overhaul effort; accordingly, this requirement cannot support a competitive solicitation. Currently the only known approved sources for the overhaul/upgrade for the STARTER, ENGINE, ELECT is the OEM Honeywell International, Cage: 70210, 1300 W. Warner Road Tempe, AZ 85084-2822 (Large Business). Firms that recognize and can produce the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to become approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures. These procedures are outlined at the following website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casl_cmo_home. All responsible firms may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not open prior to the closing date stated above.
