Synopsis: **ATTENTION** ALL FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO: KOURTNEY BLANDING, CONTRACT SPECIALIST, ARMY CONTRACTING COMMAND - REDSTONE; EMAIL: KOURTNEY BLANDING.CIV@MAIL.MIL. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The Army Contracting Command-Redstone, on behalf of the Project Manager, Aircraft Survivability Equipment (PM ASE), intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for an Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract. The intended period of performance is a (5) years base with an option to extend the terms of the contract for two additional one-year periods. This effort will be for systems engineering, integration, logistics, and other technical support services for the OT-225 Advanced Threat Infrared Countermeasures (ATIRCM) System and the AN/AAR-57(V) Common Missile Warning System (CMWS) in support of the United States Government and possible Foreign Military Sales. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 334511. Pursuant to 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source: BAE Systems (BAE), Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Inc., 65 Spit Brock Rd, Nashua, NH 03060-6909, Cage Code 94117. This is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. However, all proposals received within ten (10) days after the date of publication of this synopsis shall be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to further compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
