This Sources Sought notice is for market research to identify sources capable of inspecting and overhauling the Digital Data Transfer Computer Input/Output, NSN 5895-01-590-6682, Part Number 70600-01827-102. The contractor would need to provide all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data to complete the inspection/overhaul and return items to condition code A per Army Regulation 725-50, then package and ship them to required destinations. The item is not a Critical Safety Item, no DMWR is available, and the applicable NAICS is 334290 with an 800-employee small business size standard under PSC 5895. The Government does not own the proprietary data needed to compete the requirement, so eligible offerors must have authorization/access from Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation or GE Aviation Systems, LLC, or the ability to procure the requisite proprietary data, to be eligible for award.
