DCMA’s Commercial Item Group determined that maintenance and overhaul services for the Black Hawk Power Turbine Module qualify as commercial services under FAR 2.101, so the requirement is converted from noncommercial to commercial under FAR Part 12. The contract type is changed from a five-year IDIQ to a three-year IDIQ. The amendment also incorporates mandatory regulatory updates under the recent Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO).
