This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the overhaul for the following item: NOMENCLATURE: Main Rotor Blade INPUT NSNs: P/Ns: 1615-01-106-1903 70150-09100-043 OUTPUT NSN: P/N: 1615-01-106-1903 70150-09100-043 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 60 each – Maximum 216 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 36 each) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. Interested parties who have the capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio-economic status as applicable. All submissions must include full company name, Point of Contacts (POCs) to include, name, position, office and mobile telephone numbers and email address. DMWR 1-1615-281, revision date 2/28/2023 has been identified for this effort; however, the Main Rotor Blade is an aviation Critical Safety Item (CSI) as defined by DFARS 209.270-2. As such, the overhaul can only be performed by a source approved by the Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD). Currently, the only known approved sources for the Main Rotor Blade are Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation (Large Business), International Aviation Composites Limited (Small Business), Aviation Blade Services, Inc (Small Business), Overhaul Support Services, LLC (Large Business), Advance Composite Structures Florida, LLC (Large Business), and Israel Aerospace Industries – Bedek, Accessories Mata (Large Business). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation or questions to the following address: usarmy.redstone.ccdc- avmc.mbx.ed-sar@army.mil. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purposes.
