This contract action is for a single award, five-year Maintenance and Overhaul (M&O) contract. The contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul for the following assets: NOMENCLATURE: Nitrogen Inerting Unit INPUT NSN: 1560-01-587-1028 INPUT P/N: 3261029-0301 OUTPUT NSN: 1560-01-587-1028 OUTPUT P/N: 3261029-0301 ESTIMATED QTY 8 minimum/ 50 maximum The Nitrogen Inerting Unit is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). No Depot Maintenance Requirement (DMWR) has been identified for this requirement. Currently the only known approved source for the overhaul of the Nitrogen Inerting Unit is COBHAM MISSION SYSTEM DA, (CAGE Code: 99251) 2734 HICKORY GROVE ROAD, DAVENPORT IA 52804. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the M&O SAR Guidance. Additional information on SAR process is located at https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/. The solicitation will not open prior to the closing date stated on the synopsis. Overhaul/Repair of this item requires that the contractor receive source approval from the Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC) Systems Readiness Directorate (SRD). The NIU is Not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). There are no DMWRS to support the overhaul of these items.
