DESCRIPTION: This is Pre-solicitation synopsis. This requirement was previously posted under W58RGZ-22-B-0042. This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a Full and Open acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: Cover Assembly, Sump Input NSN Input Part Number 1615-01-113-0242 145D5322-3 1615-01-617-0570 145D5322-5 Output NSN Output Part Number 1615-01-617-0570 145D5322-5 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 10 – Maximum 205 each Maximum OF 205 each includes quantity of 170 US and a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 35 each The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) maintenance and overhaul contract, with minimum / maximum quantities listed above. The maximum quantity includes a quantity for Foreign Military Sales. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). Only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agency’s requirement. The Cover Assembly, Sump is NOT a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size, UEI, and socio economic status as applicable. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this announcement or Government use of any information provided. This announcement does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition strategy. The Government reserves the right to consider acquisition strategies as deemed appropriate. Submittal of information is requested via electronic mail only to Karen Greenwood, Contract Specialist Karen.greenwood2.civ@army.mil no later than 2 November 2022. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimate and may be adjusted dependent upon the date the solicitation is released; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
