This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul/Upgrade of the requirement detailed below. The Contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, Material, equipment, tools, and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: CH-47 Chinook Computer System Digital =========================== INPUT NSN OUTPUT P/N 7010-01-549-4958 72VS100-11 7010-01-549-4958 72VS100-2 OUTPUT NSN OUTPUT P/N 7010-01-549-4958 72VS100-11 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 10 – Maximum 270 each (Maximum OF 270 each includes quantity of 170 US and a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 40 each) The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334111 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The proposed contractual action is a five (5) year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) maintenance and overhaul contract. The Computer System Digital is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). A Depot Maintenance Requirement (DMWR) has not been identified for this requirement. This Requirement is restricted to BAE Systems Controls Inc. (CAGE Code 89954), 1098 Clark St., Endicott, NY 13760. Interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your CAGE Code business size and socio economic status as applicable. The solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated on the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a RFP. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested. This announcement does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition strategy. The Government reserves the right to consider acquisition strategies as deemed appropriate.
