This announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a limited competitive acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: MAST, MAIN ROTOR SUPPORT --------------------------- OUTPUT NSN: 1615-01-166-1963 OUTPUT P/N: 7-311160020-5 INPUT NSN : 1615-01-166-1963 INPUT P/N: 7-311160020-5 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum/Maximum quantities for a 5-year requirement are 40 Min and 240 Max. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336413 and the size standard is 1250 employees. The output NSN is listed as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). There are no DMWRS to support the overhaul of these items. Currently the only known approved source for the repair of the Mast, Main Rotor Support is The Boeing Company (CAGE CODE 8V613). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Maintenance and Overhaul (M&O) SAR Guidance.
