This sources sought announcement is in support of market research to determine the feasibility of a Full and Open acquisition and to identify potential sources that can provide the Maintenance and Overhaul of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: DISPLAY UNIT, FLIGHT Input/Output NSN: 6610-01-598-6052 Input/Output P/N: 501-1851-3402 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 60 – Maximum 552 each Maximum of 552 each includes quantity of 460 US and a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 92 each. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334511 and the size standard is 1,250 employees. The Display Unit, Flight is NOT a Critical Safety Item (CSI). There is no adequate DMWR for this item and it is restricted to approved sources only. It must be overhauled by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or other approved sources. The OEM is L-3 Communications. (CAGE 25583). Interested parties who have capability to perform the above effort should respond to this notice and identify your business size and socio economic status as applicable. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by following the procedures outlined at the following website: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/ The solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated on the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a RFP. A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested.
