The contractor shall furnish all services, facilities, labor, parts, materials, equipment, tools, and data (other than Government Furnished Property), necessary to accomplish the inspection and overhaul for the following items: NOMENCLATURE: Control Recorder INPUT NSNs: P/Ns: 6695-01-325-3391 29328203 OUTPUT NSN: P/N: 6695-01-325-3391 29328203 ESTIMATED QUANTITY RANGE: Minimum 12 each – Maximum 72 each (Maximum includes a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Quantity of 12 each) The proposed contractual action will be a Five (5) year, Firm Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Maintenance and Overhaul type contract, with minimum / maximum quantities listed above. The Control Recorder is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The Control Recorder must be overhauled by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or other approved sources. The OEM is GE Aviation Systems, LLC (CAGE 35012). Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.301-1(a)(2), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. There is no adequate Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) available for this effort. Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Requests (SAR) in order to become an approved source by following the procedures outlined at the following website: https://www.avmc.army.mil/Directorates/SRD/SAR/ No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Requests for the solicitation shall be by email to carrie.l.samuels.civ@army.mil. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds.
